Monitoring

An errant logging mechanism was causing some process configuration files to become very large in size. As part of our deploy process, these files are opened and modified; the large file size was causing the deploy to hang and the I/O wait on the machine to increase substantially.

We've deleted the large config files, and have confirmed the hanging behavior is no longer occurring. The deploy will now proceed as planned.

Investigating

We're investigating infrastructure issues related to a code deploy that are affecting site availability. More information will be made available as soon as we can determine the cause and work toward a fix.
