Investigating

This morning between 7:20AM UTC and 9:20AM UTC an issue in our background job infrastructure caused notifications, metrics and page invalidations to be delayed.

A bug in our alerting caused our on-call team to not get notified about the issue until that had already started resolving itself. We have since fixed this alerting bug and are setting up additional systems to prevent such problems from occurring in the future.
